TK Lewis is an actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur known for his role as an inmate in the Netflix documentary series “TIME: The Kalief Browder Story.” TK was born Tyheim Kiyon Lewis on November 1st, 1996, in Newark, New Jersey to an African American mother, and an Indian Jamaican father. TK was discovered by a talent agent in a mall in New Jersey when he was only 2 years old, leading to his career path in entertainment.

CAREER
TK started his career in the entertainment industry at the age of 2 as a model, appearing in Toys “R” Us advertisements. He later began to appear in commercials, and television programs made for children. TK took a hiatus from the industry to focus on school, and sports as a youth. By the time he was in the 8th grade, he began to make music with fellow classmates, even attending studio sessions with Treach from the hip-hop collective, Naughty By Nature.

In the summer of 2016, after graduating from high school, TK began to act again. He was cast by Deshaun Jiwe Morris to act the role of an inmate who was imprisoned at the Rikers Island Correctional Facility in the Jay-Z executive produced docu-series “TIME: The Kalief Browder Story” which later premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He was also cast that same year for an independent film titled “Upshot”, in which he portrays a delinquent who was harassed by a crooked police officer. TK also is a filmmaker, and entertainment executive becoming the co-founder of the company Progression Entertainment Group alongside Chad Britton. TK is based in LA, Miami, and New York City.

PERSONAL
TK stands 5ft 8in tall, and he’s a Scorpio born on saints day, November 1st, 1996. TK is a huge Eazy-E fan and even has a portrait of the late rapper on his right arm as a tribute to him. TK is also a competitive boxer, and car enthusiast, collecting over 8 sports cars from the 1980s. He also holds a private pilot license and flies Cessna aircrafts quite often. TK is also a humanitarian, donating, and fighting for causes for children, and underprivileged families.
