T-Wayne is an American rapper. He’s also known by the moniker “Rickey Wayne”. His discography includes Who Is Rickey Wayne? (2015) and Forever Rickey (2017). He’s best known for the 2015 single “Nasty Freestyle”. T-Wayne was born Tyshon Dwayne Nobles on October 27, 1990, in Abilene, Texas. He moved to Dallas in his teens and later to Houston. T-Wayne attended Hebron High School where he played both football and basketball. His football career was cut short due to an arm injury. He graduated in 2009.

T-Wayne started rapping at the age of 14. He drew inspiration from Eminem‘s film 8 Mile (2002). Some of his early tracks include “South Dallas Swag”, “Boogie On Da Flo”, “Turn Down For What” and “Look At Me”. His breakout single “Nasty Freestyle” was released on May 4, 2015, by 300 Entertainment. The song peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It also charted at #41 in the UK. The official music video has been viewed more than 170 million times on YouTube. An official remix featuring Ty Dolla Sign & Chedda Da Connect was released in 2015. T-Wayne first joined the video-sharing platform ‘YouTube’ in 2006. He now has over 740,000 subscribers and more than 200 million video views. He also engages fans on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

T-Wayne is currently signed to 300 Entertainment. He released two mixtapes in 2015, Who Is Rickey Wayne? and Who Is Rickey Wayne 2. He also performed at the 2015 BET Awards in June 2015. A third mixtape titled ‘Forever Rickey’ was released in early 2017. The 12-track project featured songs like “Double Standards” and “Why You Mad”. T-Wayne’s non-album singles include “I Be Killin It”, “Swing My Arms” and “Fell In Love”.
