ORIGIN
Philadelphia native, Pink Sweat$, is an American R&B/soul singer, songwriter, and producer. He’s quietly building a name for himself with songs like “Honesty”, “Would You” and “Body Ain’t Me.” His sound consists primarily of vocals and guitar. Pink Sweat$ is managed by Thrice Cooked Media and he’s affiliated with the label Human Re Sources. His discography includes EPs Volume 1 (2018) and Volume 2 (2019). He’s collaborated with Thutmose, Crush, and Wale among others.

Given name, David Bowden, he was born on February 14, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was brought up in a God-fearing household. He’s also written for Rosie Bondz and Natalie Imani.

Pink Sweat$ released his debut single “Honesty” in July 2018. The track was produced by Thrice Cooked Media. It also sparked a remix version by Khary. Sweat$’s second single “No Replacing You” was also released in July 2018. His debut EP, Volume 1, arrived in November 2018. In March 2019, Pink Sweat$ served up his second EP, Volume 2. It was led by the song “Body Ain’t Me”, co-written by Adam Loewentheil. The project also featured parts 1 & 2 of his “Coke and Henny” single. In early October 2019, Sweat$ performed at the ACL Music Festival in Zilker Park, Austin, Texas. His collaborative single “I Wanna Be Yours” with Korean singer Crush was released later that month. Pink Sweat$’ upcoming debut studio album is titled ‘Pink Planet.’
