NBA OG 3Three is an American rapper and music executive from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a member and manager of Louisiana-based rap brand NBA (Never Broke Again). He is also the older brother of the collective’s superstar, NBA YoungBoy. In 2016, OG 3Three made an appearance on YoungBoy’s hit single, Down Chick. He later rose to prominence after being featured on “That Gang” and “No Mask.” His breakout single, “Murda” (2017), garnered him even more attention after going viral.

NBA OG 3Three was born on April 8, 1998, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was raised on the south side. At a young age, his parents separated and as a result, he grew up with his mother. Though he and YoungBoy are blood brothers, he met the future rapper at age 4. He experienced a rough life growing up. At age 11, OG 3Three was sleeping out in trap houses among junkies. Throughout school, he was not your honor roll student. Constantly getting into trouble, he was expelled multiple times. He admitted to attending at least 15 different alternative schools and somehow graduated on time. He also explained that most, if not all, of his schoolwork, was completed by other students. On the legal side of things, he got arrest multiple times.

CAREER
Prior to rapping, NBA OG 3Three had no interest in recording. In an interview, he explained that he started the Collective, NBA with his brother. At the time, YoungBoy was the only recording artist. His job was to run the business. He managed the brand; handling financial issues, writing contracts, and setting up shows. When YoungBoy went to jail, he was responsible for releasing his music and keeping the brand intact. OG 3Three got into rapping after his brother encouraged him to start recording.

In 2016, OG 3Three got noticed after appearing on YoungBoy’s track, Down Chick. He received a lot of attention as the song performed well raking in millions of streams. To date, it has garnered over 20 million streams. “That Gang” (2016), another collaboration that includes NBA KD and NBA Big B, also paved the way for future success. It, too, would establish millions of streams online.

In 2017, NBA OG 3Three scored his biggest hit, Murda. Released in December, the track featuring YoungBoy made noise throughout the hip-hop world. Its popularity earned it a feature on the vlog website, WSHH. On YouTube, the music video has an ongoing view count of over 17 million. A feature on JayDaYoungan‘s single “No Mask” and own track “Gotta Survive” also helped his career grow. He also released a 14-track mixtape, 3 Point Line. The project was led by his breakout single.

In 2018, he stepped his game up by releasing a barrage of new singles. Of the bunch, “Burn Notice” and “Moving On” ft YoungBoy proved exceptional. Both have quickly garnered millions of streams. Other notable work includes “Hold Your Head” and a feature on Yungeen Ace‘s “Gorillaz.” In 2018, OG 3Three also released two other mixtapes, Chapter 20 and All Eyez On 3.
