LoveLeo is an American recording artist and Instagram star from Los Angeles, California. He’s also dabbled in modeling and fashion design. The success of his “Boyfren” single gave birth to 2020’s “Rosie” and “Lemons.” LoveLeo is currently signed to Godmode Music / Republic Records. Republic is home to Ariana Grande, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and a host of other big names.

LoveLeo was born Leo Reilly on September 3, 1998, in Los Angeles, California. He has a younger brother. His parents are actor, John C. Reilly, and film producer, Allison Dickey. John held prominent roles in the films Chicago (2002), Talladega Nights (2006), and Step Brothers (2008). He voiced the lead character for the ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ animated film series.

CAREER
Prior to music, LoveLeo studied fashion in San Francisco, California. He works in the fashion industry as a model and designer. In June 2019, he was photographed modeling for the Moschino fashion house. Leo’s Instagram feed is very colorful and he makes heavy use of photoshop. Leo was first inspired to do music after witnessing one of his friends’ local success on SoundCloud. He later bought a cheap microphone and installed the GarageBand software. In March 2018, he released “Frosty/Toxic Love” via his SoundCloud page. A second track titled “Hate to Love” was posted in May 2018. They combine for a little over 35K spins.

Leo’s debut/breakout single “Boyfren” was released commercially via Godmode Music / Republic Records. It was recorded in late 2019 from the comfort of his childhood bedroom. Boyfren (prod. by Nick Sylvester) picked up steam in 2020, going viral on platforms like TikTok. The official video notched 9+ million views on YouTube. It was directed by Reilly & Motoki Maxted, and shot by Christopher Cranston.

Leo’s sophomore single “Rosie” arrived in March 2020. His third commercial single “Lemons” followed on April 24, 2020. Corresponding visuals for Rosie and Lemons were released via YouTube. Leo’s music reaches 1+ million monthly listeners on Spotify.

LoveLeo is around 5ft 10in tall and he’s a Virgo. He bears a slight resemblance to “Flash” actor Ezra Miller. Fans have also compared him to a young Freddie Mercury.
