ORIGIN
Lil Kei is an American rapper and songwriter from Binghamton, New York. He’s most known for being signed to Fredo Santana‘s record label ‘Savage Squad Records.’ His first recorded song was featured on Chicago’s famous blog ‘Rap Catch-up’, which earned him credibility and recognition early on in his music career. In 2016, Lil Kei performed his first live show opening for Montana of 300 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Going forward, with the support and guidance of Chief Keef and Fredo Santana, it became that much easier for him to book shows.

CAREER
Lil Kei was inspired to pursue music after watching his former friends blow up in the music industry. In 2012, he witnessed Chief Keef’s song “Don’t Like” go viral after superstar Kanye West created his own version. As a result, the track was played on numerous radio stations across the country. Kei was equally inspired after news broke that Chief Keef signed to Interscope Records. That’s when he decided to dust himself off and take a chance in the industry. Now with several tracks under his belt, it’s safe to say that Lil Kei is done waiting on the sidelines. He’s currently working on his debut album ‘Finally On.’

PERSONAL
Lil Kei is currently single with no kids. Before music, Kei’s hobbies ranged from playing sports to kicking it with the girls during the after-school hours. He has a lot of fond memories of hanging out with his cousin PapGz, also referred to as “Melo” or “MeloBoi.” Lil Kei has a single tattoo on his left arm that reads “FAME.” It serves as a constant reminder of how famous he wanted to be growing up.
