LikyBo is an American rapper from Oakland, California. Originally released in 2017, his single “Kraazy” began trending on TikTok in late 2019. It went on to achieve prominent placement on the Spotify US Viral 50 chart. Other popular songs include “Trust Issues”, “How It Feels” and “Hypnotized” featuring Haiti Babii. LikyBo’s discography includes Chances Make Champions (2019), Mind Over Matter (2018), Million Dollar Mindset (2017), and Between Me & You (2017).

LikyBo was born Malik Edwards on December 9, 1997. He’s from Oakland, California. Prior to music, the Bay Area native was more drawn to sports (basketball). CAREER
For the first half of 2016, LikyBo dropped songs like “Type of N!gga”, “In The Air” and “Trap” featuring Lil Pete. He released two freestyles, namely “Taste Like Candy” and “Tear It Up.” His ‘Versatile’ mixtape arrived in time for Summer 2016. It was helmed by tracks “One More Chance”, “Closer to my Dreams” and “When I See You.” In September 2016, LikyBo released a remix to A Boogie wit da Hoodie‘s “Jungle.” The second installment of his ‘Versatile’ tape was released in January 2017. It was led by the track “Sick Of Love (LikMix).”

In March 2017, LikyBo dropped his EP ‘Check Please’ via 1015 Digital. The tracklist includes “Talk That Sh!t” and “Money Truck.” His next EP ‘Million Dollar Mindset’ arrived in July 2017 via Mozzy Records. It was spearheaded by the song “Kraazy” (prod. by HerbMadeThisBeat). It samples Jodeci’s 1992 single “Come & Talk to Me (Remix).” Kraazy was considered a sleeper until it started blowing up on TikTok in 2019. It now has 6.5+ million spins on SoundCloud. It has since graced charts such as Spotify’s US Viral 50, and Billboard’s Top 25 Trending Songs & Music Hits.

LikyBo’s next project ‘All in or Not’ was released in October 2017 by MBO Enterprise. It boasted 12 tracks and featured guest appearances from John Mackk, Taymackin, and Robbioso. He closed out 2017 with the tape ‘Between Me & You.’ It was led by “Trust Issues” (prod. by IlluminateVirus). The SnipeFilms-directed video for Trust Issues was released a year later. In February 2018, LikyBo appeared on the song “The Man” from Lil Slugg’s EP, Shit Changed. Three months later, he dropped the mixtape Mind Over Matter (2018). The tape includes tracks “How Do You Want It” and “Money on My Mind.” Guest appearances were made by GABE, John Mackk, and ClearItOut.

In 2018, LikyBo released ‘Mind Over Matter’ and ‘Different Breed’ in May and December respectively. Both projects were released via MBO Enterprise. The latter include songs “Vibes” and “Hypnotized” featuring Haiti Babii. The supporting visual for Hypnotized was released on December 9, 2018. It has been viewed 1.1+ million times on YouTube. In 2019, LikyBo dropped his ‘Breeded Difrint’ EP and his “MayDay” and “Terrel Owens” freestyles. His latest project, Chances Make Champions, was released in December 2019.
