Layton Greene is an American R&B/soul vocalist and songwriter from East St. Louis, Illinois. She’s currently signed to Quality Control Music. Greene got onto everyone’s radar with her 2017 remix of Kodak Black‘s “Roll in Peace.” She closed out 2017 with a remix of Derez De’Shon‘s “Fed Up”, another fan favorite. Greene was born on December 4, 1998, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was raised by her mom and stepfather in East St. Louis, Illinois. Additionally, the track peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart. An official video for ‘Roll in Peace Remix’ was released in May 2018. It has 11+ million views.

On December 29, 2017, Greene released her second studio track “Fed Up Remix” with producer G-Styles. It presented her interpretation of Derez De’Shon’s 2018 song “Fed Up.” It too has been streamed millions of times. December 2017 also saw her opening for Kash Doll in Knoxville, Tennessee. In May 2018, Greene blessed her fans with her first original single “Myself.” It was co-written by Choyce and produced by G-Styles. The track racked up 17+ million streams on SoundCloud and the official video has 12+ million views on YouTube. The video was directed by Juice Bigfellow.

Greene’s next song “Kool Kid” was released in August 2018. She followed up with “Close Friends Remake” in early 2019. Greene signed to Quality Control Music in February 2019. It was led by the song “I Love You.” The matching music video attracted 5.5 million views in the first 2 months. The video co-stars actor Michael Rainey Jr. as her love interest. Tell ya Story also spawned standout songs “Blame on Me”, “Never Knew” and “I Choose.”
