ORIGIN
Laron Mack is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer. He was born on February 9, 1989, in Longview, Texas. Mack was raised by his mother, who worked multiple jobs to support him. Growing up in Longview, he had a semi-rough life, in which music was his therapy for blocking out the hardship of life experienced in East Texas. Mack is an avid listener of several genres of music, which includes Reggae, Rap, and R&B. He proclaims that he’s always had a love for music and that it encouraged him to join a band as opposed to other hobbies. Mack was also an All-Area F-Horn musician in the Longview High School Lobo Marching Band. He is a proud father of 3 children, 1 daughter, and 2 sons.
CAREER
Mack began writing songs at an early age before taking his talent seriously in 2010. He started his music career alongside his childhood friend, Adrian Brightmon, best known as Beepa Postman. The two worked on countless projects developing and crafting a unique but catchy sound. Postman, who is also the founder of Big Money Bandits, stylized as BMB, worked with Mack to enhance his sound and delivery. Mack also recognizes Postman as one of the original producers that helped to establish a talent-heavy music scene throughout Longview and East Texas.
From 2010 to 2019, Mack went under the moniker Jay Rayne Music, a name which was given to him by his older brother and local producer Charles Madden, known professionally as Charlamayne. He later adopted the stage name, Laron Mack. Laron, an abbreviation, denotes the term “Lame Ass Raggedy Old N*gga”, and Mack is short for McKinney, the city to which he resides.
In 2019, Mack released his first studio project titled “Legal Hustle,” which garnered social media attention and was featured on SoundCloud. The mixtape was later unveiled on Spotify and iTunes, amongst others. Following “Legal Hustle,” Mack released several singles, such as “Sex Games,” “Every Season Freestyle,” “Longview Freestyle,” and “Hood N*gga.”
In 2019, Mack also signed a management deal with See I TOLD Ya Entertainment, or CITYE, with the well-respected business guru, Leslie Breckenridge-Bailey. Since the signing, he has gained public attention throughout his hometown of McKinney as well as Dallas and Longview. On the visual spectrum, Mack has released several music videos that have since gone viral on the media platform, YouTube. To date, Mack has an estimated net worth of around $650,000 and has caught the attention of several major record labels across the United States.
PERSONAL
Mack’s relationship status is currently unknown. He is a devoted Christian as well as a motivational speaker, in which he spends a lot of his time speaking positivity within his peers and the people around him. He believes that anyone that applies the right amount of pressure and keeps a firm belief in God has the power to achieve any goals that have been set.
Mack’s hobbies include reading, playing video games, songwriting, and spending time with people that he values. He has 10 tattoos, with each holding a significant meaning. At age 14, he received his first tattoo, an insignia of his daughter’s first name, Kamiah.
Throughout his life, Mack has had several run-ins with law enforcement. On the verge of dropping out of high school, Mack managed to rebound and graduate. He later enrolled at the University of Oregon, where he received a Bachelor in Communication.
