Hailing from Livingston, Louisiana, Laine Hardy is a pop singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His discography includes the EP In the Bayou (2018) and the single “Flame.” The Louisiana native competed on seasons 16 and 17 of American Idol. Hardy won season 17, edging out fellow front-runner Alejandro Aranda of Pomona, California. He also made history as the first Asian-American to win the singing competition.
