JameirKGolden is an American rapper and songwriter. He’s known on the musical front for songs like “Losing My Mind”, “Beware Of April”, “Neon Paint Job” and “Kim Possible.” His debut mixtape, Death Will Follow Shortly, arrived in June 2018. He remains unsigned. JameirKGolden was born Jameir Desean Kirkpatrick on January 16, 2000, in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Iroquois High School, the same as singer/songwriter Bryson Tiller. Jameir’s unique flow and diversity set him apart from the crowd. His music style includes a mix of hip-hop, rock, and trap.

CAREER
Jameir grew up listening to acts like Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf, and Korn. As he got older he listened to Kanye West, Jaden Smith and Kendrick Lamar among others. He cites Kanye West as his biggest influence. Jameir began rapping shortly after hearing the ‘Yezzus’ album that dropped in 2013. This newfound inspiration drove him to start recording and sharing his own music via SoundCloud. His first 5 tracks were uploaded to SoundCloud in June 2017. They were produced by Nicolas Sales aka Rosé. Later that year Jameir would drop a song titled “Losing My Mind” on Spotify. It became a viral hit, racking up 100K+ streams shortly after it premiered. The overwhelming response to Losing My Mind helped propel Jameir’s career forward.

JameirKGolden released his 9-tracked mixtape, Death Will Follow Shortly, in June 2018. The track-list includes “Escobar”, “Neon Paint Job” and “Lonely Lucifer.” He’s since worked with producers Nor’Ledges, HobbsRussle, and Rad Panda. Jameir paid tribute to slain rapper XXXTentacion with the song “For X (R.i.p X).” The track received mostly positive responses. Jameir is known for his patience and unique approach to making music. He’s also very vocal and isn’t afraid to voice his opinions, likes, and dislikes. In addition to music, he’s working on a fashion brand called “VLG’s Revenge.” The announcement was made to his fans on social media.

At present, Jameir is an independent recording artist. He isn’t signed to any labels. However, he’s affiliated with 1600 Forever After.
