Chris Kattan is an American film and television actor. He’s also a comedian best known for his work on Saturday Night Live. His acting credits include A Night at the Roxbury, Undercover Brother and The Middle. Kattan was born Christopher Lee Kattan on October 19, 1970 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. His mother, Hajnalka Biro, was a model, and his father, Kip King, an actor. Kattan grew up in Mount Baldy before moving to Bainbridge Island, Washington, at the age of 15. He’s a graduate of Bainbridge High School. He later studied acting and directing at California State University, Northridge.

CAREER
Kattan moved to Los Angeles , California, after completing high school. There he joined and performed with the improv/sketch comedy group ‘The Groundlings’. In 1996, Kattan moved to New York City to join the cast of Saturday Night Live. He rose to prominence with such characters like Mr. Peepers, Azrael Abyss and the Roxbury Guy. He’s also done impersonation of celebrities like Ben Affleck, Ricky Martin and David Spade.

Kattan starred opposite Will Ferrell in the comedy, A Night at the Roxbury (1998). He followed up with prominent roles in House on Haunted Hill (1999), Corky Romano (2001) and Monkeybone (2001). Kattan’s next big role was that of “Mr. Feather” in the action-comedy, Undercover Brother (2002). The film also stars Eddie Grifin and Dave Chappelle. He was the voice behind “Kakie” in the 2015 3D computer animated film, Hotel Transylvania 2. Other notable voice roles include “Filo” from the film Delgo (2008), and “Bunnicula” from the series Bunnicula (2016).

Kattan’s television credit include ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Inked’ and ‘Grace Under Fire’. He held a memorable role as “Bob” on the ABC sitcom, The Middle. He was a contestant on Celebrity Poker Showdown (2005) and a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2011). Kattan was a contestant on season 24 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. His partner was professional dancer Witney Carson.
