Candy Ken is an Austrian rapper, TikTok star, model, and artist. He’s known for his gender-bending persona of fusing feminine pop culture with masculinity. His videos and online presence have earned millions of followers and garnered recognition from fashion brands. On the music front, Candy Ken is known for songs like “Basic B!tches”, “Riff Raff Is My Daddy”, “Say Ma Name” and “I Am Who I Am.” His discography includes the albums Real Talk (2016) and Flaming (2018). The short film for ‘Welcome to Candyland’ won an Alpinale Film Festival for best short. The music video for Ken’s “Basic B!tches” single featuring Bainshee arrived in 2015. A second EP, Candy Ken Paradise, was released in September 2015. It was produced by Smokera and it boasted songs like “Say Ma Name”, “Birthday Kid” and “Basic B!tch Be Quiet.” Ken’s 5-track project, Daddy69, was released in November 2015. It included songs like “Daddy”, “69” and “Hello Kitty.” The visual for “69” was directed by Kassandra Powell. His debut album, Real Talk, was released in May 2016. The album was heavily influenced by the works of American rapper Riff Raff. It was produced by Smokera and it featured guest appearances from Gigi Tays and Tino Kamal.

Candy Ken’s sophomore album, Flamingo, was released in March 2018. It was jam-packed with 14 songs, including “Temporary” and “Gucci Glasses” featuring Ripparachie, Fiakra & the Ji. The album’s 4th track “Rip Lil Peep” paid homage to fallen American rapper Lil Peep. In April 2018, Candy Ken made his American television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He was featured on a segment called ‘Guess Who’s High.’ Candy Ken closed out 2018 with the single “New Boyfriend.” His latest single “Straight White Boy” was released in May 2019.

In addition to his music career, Candy Ken is a model. His presence on Instagram caught the attention of Diesel’s Nicola Formichetti and the rest was history. From there on, he appeared in a number of photo/fashion shoots. Candy Ken appeared in Formichetti’s FREE magazine (Japan). Next, he was photographed by Terry Richardson and featured in ‘Man about Town’ magazine. He’s since worked with Roberto Piqueras and Michiko Koshino among others. Candy Ken was featured in the documentary short, How (2015). He later scored a supporting role in the series ZAPS, Inc. His credits also include the drama romance film, Desire Will Set You Free (2015).
