Matt Rife is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He’s best known for his role on MTV’s Wild ‘N Out with Nick Cannon. His television credits include ‘Average Joe’ and ‘WTH: Welcome to Howler’. Rife was born on September 10, 1995 in Columbus, Ohio. He attended public high school before switching to home-schooling his senior year.
Rife began his career as a stand-up comic in his mid teens. He’s since performed with comedians like Dane Cook, D.L. Hughley, Ralphie May and Tommy Davidson. Rife has performed stand up at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood and on BET’s ComicView. At age 17, he made history as the youngest performer ever on ComicView. He was also featured in an October 2016 episode of the comedy show, Acting Out.
Rife’s first notable television role was as “Danny” in the series, Average Joe (2014). He had a small role in the independent drama-thriller, Room 236 (2015).
