James Gunn is an American screenwriter, film director and actor. He directed the film Super (2008) and the MCU films Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). His credits include Dawn of the Dead (2004), Slither (2006) and The Belko Experiment (2016). He’s also had some success as a novelist and musician.
