Avril Lavigne is a Canadian pop singer, songwriter and actress. She’s known for mixing rock and punk. Her discography includes Let Go (2002), Under My Skin (2004) and The Best Damn Thing (2007). Avril Ramona Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984 in Ontario, Canada. Her parents are John and Judy. She has two siblings, Michelle and Matthew. Lavigne grew up in Greater Napanee, Ontario, where she attended Napanee District Secondary School. She dropped out of high school to focus on music.
