Ogunbowale continued her basketball journey at the University of Notre Dame. She played in all 35 games as a freshman (2015-16), averaging 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists. She became the starting guard for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish her sophomore year (2016-17). The team ended the season with a 33-4 record. Her efficiency also improved to 15.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Ogunbowale led the team to the 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball championship. She was named as the tournament MVP after hitting back to back buzzer beaters. In addition to college basketball, Ogunbowale has competed as a member of the USA National Team, and the World Championship Team. She won gold medals as a member of the U16, U17, U18 and the Youth Olympic Games. She helped the National Team secure the U23 Four Nations Tournament Title.
