Vince Staples is an American rapper, songwriter and member of the hip hop trio Cutthroat Boyz. He’s known for the albums Summertime ’06 (2015) and Big Fish Theory (2017). His other projects include Hell Can Wait (2014) and Prima Donna (2016). Staples was born on July 2, 1993 in Long Beach, California. He’s the youngest of five siblings. One of his sisters died in recent years. Staples attended several different high schools in Southern California.
Staples kick start his rap career with guest appearance on albums by Odd Future. He befriended and was featured on songs by Syd tha Kyd, Mike G, and Earl Sweatshirt.
