Alan Rickman was an English actor, director and producer known for his antagonist roles in films like ‘Die Hard’ and ‘Harry Potter’. He was born on February 21, 1946 in Acton, West London. He excelled at the arts and was awarded a scholarship to Latymer Upper School in London. He went on to study graphic design at Chelsea College of Art and Design followed by the Royal College of Art.
