Dylan Rieder was an American professional skateboarder and fashion model. He competed in the Street League and the X Games for several years. Rieder was born Dylan Joseph Rieder on October 12, 2016 in Westminster, California. His parents were Dana Ortiz and Joe Rieder. He had a younger sister named Makenna.
Rieder began his skateboarding career at the age of 9. He turned professional in 2006 following his performance in Transworld Skateboarding’s video for “A Time To Shine”. Rieder worked with the skateboarding company Alien Workshop from 2006 to 2013. His sponsors over the years included HUF, Spitfire, MOB, Jack’s Garage and Thunder. Rieder competed in the Street League from 2010 through 2013. He represented the United States during the Summer X Games. He was ranked 12th in the 2013 X Games in Barcelona. Rieder had a small acting role as a kid in the 2003 comedy film, Grind. Other notable videos included Thrasher – Shotgun (2006), Gravis – Dylan (2010), and Supreme – Cherry (2014).
